I became a DVSA-approved instructor in 2016 after years of friends asking me to teach them because I made it feel less terrifying. Green Light grew from that one promise: a calm car and an instructor who actually listens.

Manual or automatic — which should I choose?
Automatic is often quicker to learn, but a manual licence lets you drive either; we’ll talk it through at your first lesson.
How many lessons will I need?
It varies a lot by how often you drive outside lessons — we review progress regularly and tell you honestly where you stand.
Can I switch instructors?
Yes, if it’s not the right fit we’ll match you with someone else, no hard feelings.
