Questions
About ecommerce website design
Is this the same as a plain website?
No. A plain business website shows your prices and takes enquiries. An ecommerce website lets a customer pick a product, pay for it and see their order history — that needs product pages, a cart, payment and an admin area, which is what the shop plans add.
Who takes the payment?
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay go through a payment provider such as Stripe. The provider’s own fees are charged by them and paid by you; we do not add a separate markup.
Can I manage products and orders myself?
Yes. Every shop plan includes an admin area where you add products, change prices and photos, and see and update orders, without needing us for day-to-day changes.
What if I need more than 500 products or several branches?
That is the bigger online store tier, priced after a free call because every large catalogue is different — more sellers, warehouses, or a connection to your stock or accounting system.
Do I own the shop if I leave?
Yes. As with every Adyft Sites plan, we hand over the ready-to-run files and the source project and help you move, with no exit fee.
